IF - Illustration Friday ~ Equipment

This week's subject for Illustration Friday was "equipment". I kept visualizing happy go lucky images of robots and pirates. But, then I realized that my heart wasn't so happy after all. My Louisiana heart is bleeding. The disaster of the BP oil spill is constantly on my mind and how their "equipment" has failed. This beautiful land, water and wildlife are all being coated in thick sticky tar. And for what reason? People, please wake up.
